Two persons were killed and four injured in three separate crashes on Lokoja-Abuja Expressway on Friday.
The Federal Road Safety Commission stated these in separate posts.
It said two persons were killed and one injured in an early morning crash on Lokoja -Abuja Road at about 05:25a.m at Yagoji.
It said the driver of a Toyota Haice bus with registration number XA 838 EDT lost control of the vehicle and crashed it into a stationary MACK tanker registered as XB 974 EFR.
After the bus slammed into the truck parked off the road, two of the occupants of the bus died and one was injured.
The dead and injured were taken to the General Hospital at Kwali near Abuja.
FRSC indicated that the crash occurred as a result of driver fatigue.
On the same road, a lone crash involving a Nissan Sunny AH 405 ABJ as well as two men and four women left one male and one female injured.
The injured were taken to the General Hospital, Kwali for further medical attention.
In the third incident, FRSC said one woman was injured in a crash involving a Honda Accord with registration number AM 653 MAG at Gegu on the stretch between Lokoja and Abaji.
The two men travelling in the car along with the woman did not sustain any injury.
